The Housing Authority, created by Ordinance 65 effective May 1972, was implemented to further affordable housing opportunities within the Town of Farmington.  It also investigates alternative solutions and initiatives regarding affordable housing.  The Housing Authority discusses issues of affordable housing, oversees the federal Section VIII rental subsidy program, and manages the Cooperative Ownership Program, as well as Maple Village.
