Construction Plans
- State Project #51-0272: Unionville Bridge Rehabilitation Project - The CT Department of Transportation started this project in March 2021. - Westwoods Recreation Complex (Updated October 29, 2024) - The new Westwoods Recreation Center includes the construction of eight pickleball courts, a splash pad, storage building, bathrooms, changing rooms, office space, and 80 additional parking spaces. This project received $500,000 in funding from a 2022 STEAP Grant and an additional $200,000 from federal ARPA funds. To date, the building exterior is nearly complete; additional contractors will be starting work on the courts and splash pad once the exterior of the building has been completed. Work on the site will continue to the Spring of 2025.
