Farmington Social Services (FCS) provides a variety of social service programs for its residents who are experiencing financial, physical and psycho-social hardships.  Social workers are available to assess needs, advise on available options, provide referrals and support and serve as an advocate.  Social Workers on staff are available for crisis intervention.

Crisis Intervention:

United Way 211 Service

2-1-1 is a program of United Way of Connecticut and is supported by the State of Connecticut and Connecticut United Ways.

2-1-1 is your one-stop connection to the local services you need, from utility assistance, food, housing, child care, after school programs, elder care, crisis intervention and much more. 2-1-1 is always ready to assist you find the help you need.
