Speaker Bio: Lorren Pogson was born and raised in Farmington, CT and grew up farming with her family on Mountain View Farm. Lorren earned an Associate Degree in horticulture and a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources Management from the University of Connecticut. She has served the community as a commissioner on the Farmington Conservation Commission and Farmington Inland Wetlands Commission and as Farmington Memorial VFW Post 10361 Post Commander. In 2011, Lorren opened Maizey’s Market Farm Stand in Farmington, which offers a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers.
